RAH Shipping & Logistics is the business name used on this website for the country operations listed on our Contact page. Each enquiry or shipment is handled by the relevant RAH legal entity, identified in the written quotation, booking confirmation or other agreed service documents.
These website terms provide a common starting point across our operations. The scope of work, responsibilities and any service-specific conditions are confirmed with the RAH company arranging your shipment.
An enquiry is not a confirmed booking
Submitting a form, starting a WhatsApp conversation or requesting a rate does not reserve equipment, transport space, storage or a delivery date. A shipment is arranged only after the available service, quotation and booking arrangements have been confirmed.
Review the contracting entity, service scope, payment conditions and applicable trading terms before accepting a quotation. This website disclaimer does not replace those documents.
Quotation scope, charges and schedules
Written quotations specify their validity, inclusions, exclusions and assumptions. Freight, inland transport, handling, documentation, customs services, duties, taxes, inspections, storage, demurrage and detention may be separate charges. Ask for clarification if an item is unclear.
Rates and arrangements may need to be reviewed if the cargo, dimensions, weight, route, readiness or requested services change. Schedules and transit indications are estimates unless a specific commitment is expressly agreed in the booking terms.
Accurate cargo details and special requirements
Provide accurate cargo descriptions, packing details, dimensions, weight and shipment documents. Tell us about dangerous or restricted goods, batteries, liquids, vehicle condition, temperature requirements and any special lifting or securing needs before booking.
Product owners and shippers should provide the applicable handling instructions. Suitable equipment, facilities, monitoring and operating arrangements must be confirmed for the actual shipment.
Customs and free-zone treatment
Customs clearance, permits, duties, taxes and inspections depend on the goods, destination, procedure and responsible importer or exporter. Free-zone storage does not automatically make every shipment exempt from duty or tax; mainland release and other movements may create separate requirements.

Cargo insurance and claims
Do not assume that cargo insurance is included in a freight or handling quotation. If cover is required, request it and obtain written confirmation of the insurer, cover, value, exclusions and applicable conditions before shipment.
Any loss, damage or delay should be reported promptly with the shipment reference and supporting information. Claim procedures, time limits and liability are governed by the applicable transport documents, agreed terms and mandatory law. This website does not set a separate liability limit.

Logistics images are illustrative unless expressly identified otherwise. They do not imply that RAH owns the pictured vessels, aircraft, vehicles, terminals or facilities. Our stated ownership of the Jebel Ali Free Zone warehouse is separate from the illustrative warehouse photograph.
Applicable law and your rights
The applicable law, jurisdiction, service conditions and any relevant international transport rules depend on the contracting RAH entity, the agreed service and the shipment. Review the terms supplied with your quotation and booking for the provisions that apply. This general website notice does not select one country’s law for every shipment.
Nothing in this notice overrides mandatory law or excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a provision conflicts with a mandatory requirement, that requirement takes precedence.
